1964 Fresno “
Muscle Boat” - We have a collection of muscle
cars from the 60’s so we came across this 60’s era hot rod speedboat and
thought it would be something nostalgic to have in our collection. We have
not researched the origins of this one, but we think it is really cool.
Any of you “motor heads” out there who remember these boats back then,
please let us know.
We would love to know
the history behind this one.
It has a “Big Block”
427 C.I. Chevrolet V-8 with 454 Hi-Performance Heads with a High Rise
aluminum tunnel ram intake manifold that accommodates a pair of 4-Brl.
carburetors. Open polished chrome headers help pass all that burned gas. A
V-Drive transmission transfers all the power through the shaft drive. It
has a center console style shifter & a pedal drive throttle to make it
blast off.
It features an
electronic ignition, dual batteries & dual oil filters just to name of
few of the hi-performance goodies. Personally I have not had the guts to
demo this one myself, but J.B. does and had a blast last summer on lake
Hickory. He reports that it’s not for the faint of heart. He best
describes it as a T-Bucket that floats. It has custom made aluminum trim
tabs mounted on the rear transom for control. The hull is finished in
White Pearl metallic with a custom vinyl interior to accommodate 5 brave
or just plain crazy mad people. A custom built 2-axle trailer is
included. We sunk a ton of money on this one & we really do not know
what it is worth. We are open to interesting collector car trades or
make us an offer we can’t refuse. Summer is here so now is the time to
enjoy this one. If you feel the need for speed, or just want to put this
one along side your 60’s muscle car collection like we did, give us a
call toll free today @ 866-297-2331 and lets put a deal together.
