1950 Studebaker Land Cruiser Rest-O-Mod
Top of the marquee 1950 4-door Studebaker Land Cruiser with Rest-O-Mod conversion. Exterior paint finished in Hunter Green complemented by a Gray fabric interior.
Just finishing up a 2 year ground up restoration from a nice original example. Under the hood lurks a brand new Mr. Goodwrench Chevrolet 350 C.I. crate engine attached to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Vintage Air was then added for additional driving comfort.
Paint, chrome, stainless trim, glass, suspension, steering, & brakes have all been completely refurbished along with a complete new interior refurbishment which includes seats, door panels, headliner, & carpets. The trunk compartment has also been completely refurbished & lined with new carpet. Were just waiting for a new steering wheel replacement that is on order from a Studebaker vendor to complete the interior. The car sits stout thanks to a brand new set of Wide White Wall tires that adorns the factory deluxe chrome wheel covers.
Pardon the photos taken in a dark warehouse & dust on the car but I wanted to get the car posted to the web site right away for the Studebaker collector out there who might be looking to add a unique car to their collection.
